Karl E. Pearson is AV Rated™ and Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar. He has decades of experience litigating complex cases. That experience includes prosecuting and defending a wide variety of business and tort cases ranging from professional liability, construction, contract, and insurance matters. He has handled cases involving class actions, product liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Karl is regularly mentioned as one of Orlando’s Best Lawyers – 2021 and recognized in Florida Super Lawyers™ 2012 – 2021.
Karl’s recent engagements include his acting as national litigation management counsel for a Fortune Top 100 engineering firm, his role as lead defense counsel in a $325 Million construction design defect claim involving a major Florida airport site, and his representation of design professionals in several catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Karl was also an integral player in the Virgilio v. Ryland Group, Inc. and eight related class actions stemming from homebuilders’ failure to disclose to homeowners that their homes were constructed on a World War II bombing range where live munitions and other dangerous debris remained present.
