Karl E. Pearson
Karl E. Pearson is a Board Certified Construction attorney who brings decades of experience handling complex litigation, prosecuting and defending a wide range of business and tort cases ranging from professional liability, construction, contract-related and insurance matters, class actions, to product liability, Orlando wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases; he was recently named to Florida Trend’s 2010 “Legal Elite”™ and Florida Super Lawyers™ 2012.
Karl’s recent engagements include his acting as national litigation management counsel for a Fortune Top 100 engineering firm, his role as lead defense counsel in a $325 Million construction design defect claim involving a major Florida airport site, and his representation of design professionals in several catastrophic Orlando personal injury and wrongful death cases. Karl was also recently an integral player in the Virgilio v. Ryland Group, Inc. and eight related class actions stemming from homebuilders’ failure to disclose to homeowners that their homes were constructed on a World War II bombing range where live munitions and other dangerous debris remained present.
