Areas of Practice

Frank Houston attended Emory University in Atlanta, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature, and went on to obtain a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York.

He worked as a journalist in New York City and Miami, covering breaking news, culture, media and technology for a number of news organizations, including The New York Times, the Columbia Journalism Review, Salon, and Village Voice Media.

In pursuit of a second career, Frank went on to graduate cum laude from Florida International University’s College of Law in Miami, where he served as editor-in-chief of the FIU Law Review.

He has been practicing in Florida since 2012 and joined the Firm in 2023 as a Partner.

Frank has practiced first party property insurance litigation throughout his career.
