Jonathan Aversano, born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Business Administration. Following graduation, Jonathan attended Marquette University School of Law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

After working for two years at a general practice law firm in Milwaukee, Jonathan moved back to his home state of Florida and began defending various insurance companies in both first and third-party coverage disputes and litigation. He counseled insurance companies for more than six years regarding every step of the insurance claim process, including pre-suit investigations and examinations under oath, policy interpretation, neutral evaluation and negotiation of claims through appraisal, mediation and litigation.  In 2018, Jonathan joined a Plaintiff’s firm and spent seven years representing policyholders utilizing his knowledge and experience working for insurance companies.

Jonathan joined Pearson Doyle Mohr & Pastis LLP as a partner in 2025 and focuses his practice on first party property insurance litigation, personal injury premises liability and the defense of healthcare providers in medical malpractice.  Jonathan and his wife reside in Palm Beach Gardens with their four children.
